VP, Engineering

Output, a leading music creation software company, is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead our 25-person engineering team. This role reports directly to the CEO and is crucial to our executive team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for music technology.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing strategic direction and fostering innovation
2. Managing and mentoring engineering leaders
3. Offering technical guidance and oversight
4. Managing operations, including budgeting and tool procurement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years leading software engineering teams in startups and established businesses
• Extensive experience with various programming languages and technologies
• Experience with cloud computing platforms
• Track record of shipping products to large user bases
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for music technology
