Description For Data Engineer

Palantir Technologies, a leading provider of data-driven decision-making software, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Product Development Data Applications and Analytics Team (PDAAT). Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Partner with team members to understand user behavior and patterns across platform
  • Develop KPIs and implement Pipelines
  • Monitor pipelines for stability and suggest efficiency initiatives
  • Own projects end-to-end while communicating with stakeholders
  • Create data analysis and supporting visualizations
  • Create custom applications and executive dashboards
  • Provide feedback to software engineering teams
  • Become an expert on foundational data
  • Respond to strategic, tactical, and analytical questions

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Degree in Data Science, Finance, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business or other quantitative fields
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a data analytical role
  • Expertise and experience in Python and manipulation of data
  • Experience with BI tools, SQL queries, and organizing and analyzing data
  • Ability to independently identify, analyse, and resolve ambiguous issues
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with Spark is desirable
