PaleoHacks, one of the largest wellness platforms online, is seeking a skilled Data Developer to join their remote-first team of 16 full-time members. This role is crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth across their five expanding brands.

The position requires a detail-oriented professional with 5+ years of experience in SQL and BigQuery, who excels at building scalable systems and maintaining automated reports. You'll be responsible for managing subscription and paid advertising data, developing SOPs, maintaining database integrations, and analyzing trends to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate should be proficient with Google Sheets and Looker Studio, with bonus points for experience in Python frameworks, PowerBI, and direct response funnels. This role offers a competitive monthly salary of $4,500-$6,500, unlimited PTO, paid sick leave, and the opportunity to work with a global team while maintaining work-life balance.

Working hours require overlap with Mountain Time (9am - 1pm MT), making this position suitable for professionals who can accommodate these hours. Responsibilities For Data Developer

  • Build and maintain automated reports for funnels, paid media, subscriptions, and customer service
  • Develop and document clear SOPs for reporting processes
  • Set up and maintain integrations across customer databases
  • Analyze data trends to identify improvements
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing dashboards and reporting systems
  • Building and managing subscription & paid advertising data

Requirements For Data Developer

Python
  • 5+ years of strong SQL and BigQuery experience
  • Skilled with Google Sheets and Looker Studio (or similar BI tools)
  • Solid data analysis and reporting experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Takes initiative and follows through
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Honest and easy to work with
  • Must overlap with Mountain Time (MT) 9am - 1pm
