Description For Software Engineer, In-Car Payments

Parkopedia, part of the EasyPark Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their In-Car Payments engineering team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining their cutting-edge in-car commerce platform, which enables drivers to pay for fueling and parking directly from their vehicles. The position involves working with PHP (Laravel), MySQL, AWS, Python, and JavaScript/React to build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer, In-Car Payments

  • Work with PHP (Laravel), MySQL and AWS, Python and Javascript/React to deliver new features
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and work with colleagues, stakeholders and third parties
  • Design, document, build, deploy and maintain RESTful APIs at scale on AWS
  • Implement TDD/BDD practices and ensure code testing and review
  • Develop, deploy, operate and monitor team deliverables in a DevOps culture
  • Performance tuning and optimization across local, pre-release and production environments

Requirements For Software Engineer, In-Car Payments

  • Experience as a developer with PHP and Laravel with a focus on RESTful APIs
