Responsibilities For Information Security Engineer
- Integrating security scans and vulnerability checks into the CI/CD pipeline
- Reviewing and enforcing security policies within automation scripts
- Investigating security incidents and coordinating response actions
- Reviewing/help with enforcing security configurations on servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Implementing security best practices for containerized applications
- Designing and implementing security architectures for new applications and systems
- Evaluating new security technologies and tools
- Promoting a security-first culture within the organization
Requirements For Information Security Engineer
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, vulnerability management, network security, and application security)
- DevOps experience including infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with security tools (vulnerability scanners, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions)
