Senior Engineer - Fullstack

PayPal is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Checkout- Billing and Subscriptions domain. This role is part of PayPal Checkout Engineering, building experiences used by millions of merchants and shoppers worldwide. The team is focused on providing sophisticated, tailor-made experiences for all users.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership for the development team and lead participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle. You'll be responsible for shaping PayPal's customer-facing checkout products through technical leadership, implementation of technical designs, architectural decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.

The Billing and Subscription domain handles 50% of overall transactions in XO and generates 20% of XO's revenue. The role involves direct interaction with merchants and consumers, developing industry-leading experiences that bring value to both parties. You'll use your technical expertise and business domain understanding to improve platform scale, reliability, and performance.
