Pixar Animation Studios is seeking a talented Build and Release Engineer to join their Software R&D team. As a Build and Release Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting internal software configuration & deployment tools, improving third-party dependency management systems, and extending continuous integration frameworks across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with R&D teams to enhance development workflows and provide direct support to both internal developers and the broader USD community.
The role requires strong technical skills including proficiency in Python, experience with Git and Perforce, and expertise in build tools like SCons, CMake, or Bazel. You should have demonstrated experience as a release engineer or DevOps engineer, particularly with Linux/macOS software development on large-scale products.
