Kubernetes Engineer

Porter is an innovative Platform as a Service (PaaS) that operates within users' own cloud infrastructure. As a Kubernetes Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of infrastructure development, working with Porter's core technology that provisions and manages Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).

The role demands extensive experience with production Kubernetes environments. You'll be responsible for strengthening Porter's cluster infrastructure, conducting stress testing, and implementing improvements across various cloud platforms. Key responsibilities include enhancing cluster availability, optimizing latency, and developing robust recovery protocols.

This position offers unique opportunities to work on challenging projects such as:

• Optimizing NGINX ingress controller performance for high-traffic scenarios
• Implementing cluster backup solutions using Velero
• Resolving networking bottlenecks to improve overall system performance
