Responsibilities For Java Software Engineer
- Develop, customize, and maintain Java-based applications, including Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP solutions
- Implement Java modules, themes, and portlets based on business requirements
- Integrate Java applications with third-party APIs, databases, and enterprise systems
- Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements For Java Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in Java development (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate)
- Strong understanding of Liferay development (Liferay DXP, Liferay Portal 6.x/7.x)
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular/React
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
