Founding ML Engineer

Proxis is seeking a Founding ML Engineer to join as employee #1, working directly with the CEO to build out their mission of enabling agentic automation for non-technical enterprises. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing field.

The role involves hands-on experience with shipping models to production, working with RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning models. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Python and TypeScript, building a web platform for orchestrating multi-agent workflows and managing their execution.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Evaluating model performance
• Identifying and implementing model improvements
• Orchestrating infrastructure around the web app
• Working with job systems, AWS, Postgres, and Supabase
