Sr. DotNet Engineer

Qode is seeking a Sr. DotNet Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the IT industry. This role requires strong skills in .Net/.Net Core, SQL Server, and Azure functions. As a client-facing position, excellent communication skills are essential. Experience in Production Support for ITSM projects is a plus.

The ideal candidate will work 8-hour shifts covering UK time zones (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM UK time).

Key responsibilities include:

• Application Support & API Integrations with third-party solutions/services
• ITIL processes (defect triage, SLA management, Monitoring KPIs, Problem management, Incident management, workarounds)
• Developing, enhancing, documenting, and fixing application issues in .Net Core 5/6+, C#, REST API, T-SQL, and AngularJS/React JS
• Collaborating with the team to define, design, and deliver new features
• Applying broad knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with models like Agile and Scrum
• Demonstrating effective communication skills and producing technical documentation

Primary skills required:

• Production Support for assigned applications
• High-quality software code development
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Service, Application Insights, Azure Monitoring, KeyVault, and SQL Azure
• Proficiency in C#, .Net Core 3.0/6.0 or higher, and Entity Framework
• Experience with Unit Testing using X-Unit and MS-Test
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, particularly MS SQL Server
• Experience in large-scale software development and API integrations
• Knowledge of architectural styles, design patterns, and solution design
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Secondary skills desired:

• Good knowledge of JavaScript, React JS, jQuery, Angular, and other front-end technologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (classic / YAML)
