Responsibilities For Extended Reality (XR) Software Team – Multimedia Staff Engineer

  • Software and System design, development, performance & power optimization of XR products
  • Work on Qualcomm's SoC running Android and Linux platforms
  • Analyze and decompose complex software systems
  • Collaborate with others to improve overall design
  • Design, optimization, integration, testing and commercialization of Qualcomm XR solutions
  • Work on inertial sensor processing, camera processing, computer vision, graphics, video encode/decode

Requirements For Extended Reality (XR) Software Team – Multimedia Staff Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Computer Engineering or related discipline from top institutes
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in multimedia software design and development
  • Expert in C/C++ programming
  • Embedded multimedia product development experience in Android Smartphones
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Android internals
  • 2+ years of work experience with Programming Languages (C, C++, Java, Python)
  • Experience with heterogeneous/multi-core architectures preferred
  • Direct experience in XR product development preferred
