The position is part of the team responsible for developing the world's most advanced graphics processing unit (GPU) - the Adreno GPU, which is integrated into Qualcomm's System on a Chip (SOC) platforms. These platforms power a wide range of devices including mobile phones, VR/AR headsets, wearables, and laptop computers.
As a GPU Research Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with software teams, hardware design teams, standardization bodies, and both internal and external customers. Your work will directly impact the development and design of new GPU architectural features. The role requires a strong foundation in GPU architecture, programming models, and applications, along with expertise in APIs such as Vulkan, D3D, OpenGL, and/or OpenCL.
