Responsibilities For Graphics Software Engineer, Principal

  • Architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools
  • Direct team members to write code using different languages (C, C++, perl, python)
  • Lead team to develop and maintain complex pre- and post-silicon tests
  • Identify and communicate design improvements for APIs and GPU hardware
  • Act as technical lead and facilitate collaboration across organizations
  • Write detailed design documentation and feature descriptions
  • Provide supervision to direct reports

Requirements For Graphics Software Engineer, Principal

  • Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization
  • 4+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports
  • 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership
