The position requires a highly skilled engineer with at least 8 years of experience in ASIC design, with expertise in complex digital logic design, processor/microcontroller system design, and multi-power domain implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ISAs like ARM THUMB or RISC-V, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
Key responsibilities include designing micro-architecture for digital blocks, developing RTL code, debugging issues during development, creating documentation, and optimizing designs for area, power, and performance. The role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams including DFT, Implementation, Verification, Emulation, and Firmware teams.
