The Customer Engineering hardware team provides hardware support to all customers using Qualcomm's system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. This includes technical support throughout all phases of the design cycle, from product introduction to design review to production issues. Customer engineering also bridges customer requirements with internal plan of record, identify gaps in requirement, and propose solutions to mitigate the gaps.
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and production of HW baseband systems and circuits for highly integrated SoC and RF IC, familiarity with complex multi-layered PCB design, schematic, and layout. They should be self-motivated, flexible, and work well with large interdisciplinary hardware teams. Experience in integration, debug, and problem reproduction on internal and customer platforms is desired, along with coding experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
