Description For RF/Analog IC Design Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced RF/Analog IC Design Engineer to join their team in Santa Clara. This role focuses on designing and developing complex radio frequency integrated circuits for cutting-edge wireless applications. Responsibilities For RF/Analog IC Design Engineer

  • Independently determines circuit-level specifications based on system-level requirements
  • Develops module-level architecture and design of multiple complex blocks based on specifications
  • Runs complex simulations to determine circuit performance
  • Lead floor-plan layout and collaborate with layout engineers
  • Review block-level test plans and test results
  • Resolve internal and end-customer issues
  • Write technical documentation and feature descriptions

Requirements For RF/Analog IC Design Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years RF/Analog circuit design experience and 4+ years ASIC design experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years ASIC design experience, OR
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years ASIC design experience
  • 2+ years experience with CADENCE, Virtuoso, or ADS software
  • Experience with designing RF/Analog circuits for wireless products
  • Knowledge of 4G, 5G, WLAN, BT and GPS standards
