Software Architect Specialist

Qualcomm is seeking a Software Architect Specialist to join their automotive technology division, focusing on the Snapdragon Digital Chassis and next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDV). This role is central to their Snapdragon Ride platform, which addresses autonomous driving and ADAS systems challenges. The position involves creating big data pipelines to process petabytes of data for AI systems, including data preparation, automated file selection, auto-labeling, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on software engineer with 8-10+ years of experience, capable of leading the definition and design of big data/ML pipeline systems. The role requires expertise in Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming, Python, modern C++, Bazel, and Docker. The position involves working with teams across Sweden, Romania, US, Germany, and India.

Key responsibilities include architecting and maintaining software systems, coordinating with software engineers, translating requirements into work packages, and optimizing system performance. The role requires strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
