Responsibilities For Software Build and Integration Engineer
- Build, integration and verification on Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Platform chipsets
- Define plan and integrate new features
- Analyze and identify system level build integration issues
- Perform smoke test on test platforms
- Execute basic test scenarios for various modules
- Participate in build automation
- Interface with development and test teams
- Assemble and verify software builds
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
Requirements For Software Build and Integration Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-6 years of software development/integration experience
- Strong background in embedded software
- Understanding of C/C++ programming
- Strong Shell Scripting/Python/Perl programming skills
- Experience with large scale Software build, integration and test environments
- Knowledge of Revision Control Software (Git/Gerrit or Perforce)
- Knowledge of build tools such as GNU make and Soong concepts
- Experience with Continuous Build and Integration tools like Jenkins, Electric Commander
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to co-ordinate across stakeholders
- Hands-on experience on debugging embedded systems
