Validation Engineer with DDR Familiarity

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Validation Engineer with DDR Familiarity to join their Silicon Validation team within the central SoC digital hardware organization. Working in close collaboration with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers, you'll be involved in both pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon regression testing, with a particular focus on DDR-related validation and debugging.

Key responsibilities include performing SOC validation, conducting DDR-related debug operations, executing regression and PVT testing, managing emulation build validation, and overseeing post-silicon test execution and data review. The role requires a strong technical foundation with expertise in DDR interfaces, JEDEC specifications, and bus-level transaction analysis.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of relevant experience (with a Bachelor's degree) or equivalent education/experience combinations, demonstrating proficiency in hardware debugging, C code manipulation, and familiarity with various memory technologies including RDIMM, LRDIMM, HBM3/4, CXL, and DDR5/6. Experience with debug tools, including JTAG and kernel debuggers, is essential, with Lauterbach experience being a plus.
