Senior Software Developer

Quick Release is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their "Special Projects" team, which serves as their in-house software development centre-of-excellence. This role involves developing products for clients, tools for Analysts and Consultants, and internal business software. The position requires 1-2 days per week in office or client site, offering a hybrid work environment.

The team primarily consists of full-stack developers who have progressed from Analyst or Consultant roles within Quick Release. They're looking for an experienced Senior Developer to enhance their capacity for delivering high-quality software solutions and accelerate their technical capabilities.

The tech stack includes Python, Django, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Terraform, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and GitHub Actions, with some legacy systems in VBA, C# and R. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from £55k to £67k, along with opportunities for professional growth and a strong focus on work-life balance.

As a Senior Developer, you'll be responsible for delivering impactful products, writing maintainable code, shaping internal processes, and mentoring less experienced team members. The ideal candidate should have professional experience with multiple key technologies, a proven track record in application development, and strong collaborative skills.
