The position requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience (or PhD with 6+ years) in Machine Learning, who can bridge the gap between technical excellence and business value. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end ML solutions, from proof-of-concept to production deployment, using cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native approaches.
As a Machine Learning Architect, you'll work directly with customers, leading the technical direction of projects while maintaining a hands-on approach. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Architect (AWS) - Canada
- Design machine learning solutions and execute ML projects end to end from proof-of-concept to production
- Work directly with business representatives/customers to understand requirements
- Handle all project phases from problem definition to end user documentation/training
- Design ML architecture on cloud platforms including MLOps
- Stay current with latest ML research and adapt models to solve customer problems
- Establish credibility through technical excellence and develop strong customer relationships
Requirements For Machine Learning Architect (AWS) - Canada
- Masters with 10+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP and Deep Learning
- Minimum 5+ years of experience architecting and building Machine Learning solutions
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with hugging face, TensorFlow/pytorch, transformer architectures, prompt engineering, agentic systems, LLMs
- Strong coding experience in Python and architectural patterns like microservices
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
