Support Data Engineer II

The position requires a professional with 2+ years of experience in MongoDB/Elasticsearch support or similar database technologies, along with strong Linux administration skills. You'll be responsible for managing critical database operations, including issue resolution, upgrades, security, and performance tuning, while working in a remote or hybrid setting.

As a Support Data Engineer II, you'll be part of a team that provides round-the-clock operations support for MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and other database services. The role involves direct customer interaction through tickets and chats, monitoring alerts, and ensuring optimal system performance. You'll collaborate with DBAs, SREs, account managers, and developers to resolve moderate to complex customer issues.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and experience with configuration management tools. Knowledge of additional technologies like Redis, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, and Kafka is beneficial. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $68,600 to $109,700, depending on location and experience.
