Rasa, a pioneer in generative conversational AI, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Developer Relations to join their Product department. This unique role combines hands-on engineering (20% of time) with developer relations work, reporting directly to the CTO/Co-founder. The position offers an opportunity to shape the future of AI assistants while working with cutting-edge ML technologies.
The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with community engagement, creating compelling content, demos, and educational materials that showcase Rasa's capabilities. You'll need strong ML fundamentals, able to explain complex concepts like backpropagation and attention mechanisms, while also possessing excellent communication and content creation skills.
Working in a remote-first environment, you'll collaborate with a Europe-based Product team while engaging with a global community. The role involves building relationships with technology partners, contributing to social media discussions, and strengthening Rasa's developer community through various channels.

Responsibilities For Senior Engineer, Developer Relations
- Build cool things with Rasa and adjacent technologies, sharing code and producing content
- Contribute 20% time to core codebase & influence product roadmap
- Create benchmarks and demos to illustrate Rasa's CALM approach
- Build relationships with adjacent technologies and co-create content
- Stay up-to-date with AI/ML social media and contribute to conversations
- Produce educational content
- Strengthen community engagement on forum, github, youtube, and social media
Requirements For Senior Engineer, Developer Relations
- Senior Engineer level coding skills
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and technical writing skills
- Ability to build compelling prototypes quickly
