The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of analytical data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks, focusing on regulatory reporting and compliance with BACEN requirements. They will work across multiple teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, Compliance, Finance, and Product to ensure data products are scalable and standardized.

Responsibilities For Analytics Engineer Specialist (Regulatory Data Core Squad)

  • Lead design and architecture of analytical data models for regulatory compliance
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and Databricks
  • Design and oversee strategic dashboards using Qlik Sense and other visualization tools
  • Ensure standardization, governance, and versioning of analytical solutions
  • Drive initiatives to automate analytics processes
  • Act as data advisor for Compliance, Finance, Accounting, and Product teams
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for data quality and regulatory KPIs
  • Mentor and upskill Analytics professionals

Requirements For Analytics Engineer Specialist (Regulatory Data Core Squad)

Python
  • Experience in financial sector, preferably in regulatory reporting
  • Experience in data analytics using Databricks, SQL, and Python
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing analytical data models
  • Solid background in BI and dataviz tools (Qlik Sense preferred)
  • Strong understanding of data governance and Git versioning
  • Strong mathematical and financial knowledge
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • English or Spanish proficiency is a plus
