At Relativity Space, we are seeking a Propulsion Development Engineer I for Component Test to join our Engine Systems & Test team. This role involves working on simulation & software tools, system-level architecture, requirements, interfaces, component & integrated system hotfire testing, and more. You'll collaborate closely with component engineers, manufacturing team, Stennis test team, and Cape launch team to deliver engines for the Terran rocket.
As a Propulsion Development Engineer I, you will:
- Serve as a Responsible Engineer for various propulsion test articles
- Develop test plans and execute test campaigns with the Stennis team
- Own exploratory operation of new and existing test article designs
- Support engine subsystem troubleshooting and partner team product investigations
- Potentially be involved in stage test and flight campaigns
- Lead collaborative projects to completion with minimal oversight

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, technology, or mathematics
- 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in complex engineering system development and/or test environment
- Strong engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics & thermodynamics
- Familiarity with test operations environments
