Senior Software Developer, DevX

Robinhood Markets is seeking a Senior Software Developer for their DevX (Developer Experience) team. This role is part of the Developer Infrastructure division, whose mission is to empower engineering to build with quality, velocity, and confidence. The DevX team helps engineering move quickly and safely by finding, fixing, and left-shifting production issues back to development. They view engineering as a whole and drive systemic improvements to development processes and culture.

As a Senior Software Developer in DevX, you will be responsible for:

1. Build Process Optimization
2. Continuous Integration
3. Tooling Development and Optimization
4. Remote Developer Environment

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related technical fields
• 7+ years of experience in the industry
• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar
• Great problem-solving skills with the ability to dive into and navigate existing complex systems
• Expertise in one or more areas: CI/CD optimization, release engineering, dev tooling, or test automation framework development
• Expertise in Monorepos and modern build systems (e.g., Bazel, Buck)
• Prior experience in Developer Experience, Developer Infrastructure, or Software Platform
