Description For Infrastructure Engineer

Roboflow is revolutionizing the computer vision landscape by making AI accessible to developers worldwide. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the backbone of our platform that serves over 1M+ developers, including half of the Fortune 100 companies.

Our mission is to make the world programmable through computer vision, and we're looking for someone passionate about infrastructure and systems engineering to help us scale. You'll be working on critical systems that power our machine learning pipelines, cloud architecture, and customer-facing services.

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic thinking about architecture and security. You'll be part of a team that values ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and machine learning operations at scale.

What makes this role unique is the opportunity to work on infrastructure that powers real-world AI applications across various industries - from cancer research to coral reef preservation. You'll be working with modern technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP, and various ML frameworks.

We offer a flexible work environment with hubs in New York City and San Francisco, though remote work is fully supported. Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary of $165,000, generous benefits including full health coverage, and equity in a rapidly growing company backed by prestigious investors like Y Combinator and Google Ventures.

The team culture emphasizes learning, autonomy, and impact. We're a distributed team of ~60 talented individuals, including former founders, open source contributors, and industry veterans. You'll be working directly with our Engineering Lead and a dedicated team of infrastructure and security engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact on the future of computer vision technology while working with a team that values both technical excellence and work-life balance. We provide resources for professional growth, including a $4000/yr travel stipend and a $350/mo productivity stipend.

If you're passionate about infrastructure, security, and making complex technology accessible to developers worldwide, this role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and meaningful impact.
