The position involves working on InnerOrbit, RocketLit's flagship assessment platform that provides NGSS Assessments and innovative reporting for educators. As the company experiences rapid growth, they need a versatile senior developer who can handle both frontend and backend challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing innovative UX solutions
• Creating beautiful and consistent user interfaces
• Developing data visualizations using D3.js
• Code review and mentoring junior developers
• System architecture design in Google Cloud Platform
• Database optimization and performance tuning
• API development and integration
• Implementation of caching strategies and CI/CD pipelines

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience, particularly with PHP
• Strong understanding of UX principles and design aesthetics
• Extensive experience with React/Angular/Vue
• Proficiency in various technologies including Laravel, MySQL, Redis, and Git
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
