Unlike traditional cloud-based integrations, their solution can automate desktop-based tasks using computer vision and application selectors.

As a Founding Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing their core platform, working across their tech stack including an Electron desktop app (Vue.js) and Python backend. The role requires someone who can evaluate business impact, develop meaningful product opinions, and execute independently on valuable features.

The ideal candidate should have strong JavaScript, Vue.js, and Python skills, with the ability to quickly learn and implement new libraries. Experience with Electron applications, Chrome extensions, and building no-code interfaces is highly valued. The role emphasizes hiding technical complexity while maintaining focus on tangible product and business outcomes.

Rulebricks, backed by notable investors and founded in 2021, is based in Palo Alto but open to remote candidates.
