Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform & Helm
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools in Golang, Python and Java
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure and applications
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams
- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering best practices
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends in cloud-native development
- Contribute to documentation of systems and processes
- Be on call when needed to support infrastructure and systems
Requirements For Cloud Engineer
- A related technical degree required
- 8+ years of experience in cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Experience with source control (Git/Perforce)
- Solid experience in automation using Golang and Bash
- Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of networking, security and cloud monitoring
- Experience with Python and Java
- Experience with Jenkins/Spinnaker/Bamboo
