Responsibilities For Cloud Engineer

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on Kubernetes
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform & Helm
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools in Golang, Python and Java
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams
  • Participate in code reviews and improve engineering best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with latest trends in cloud-native development
  • Contribute to documentation of systems and processes
  • Be on call when needed to support infrastructure and systems

Requirements For Cloud Engineer

  • A related technical degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Experience with source control (Git/Perforce)
  • Solid experience in automation using Golang and Bash
  • Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid understanding of networking, security and cloud monitoring
  • Experience with Python and Java
  • Experience with Jenkins/Spinnaker/Bamboo
