Distributed Open Cloud Architect - Identity and Access

Salesforce is seeking a distinguished Distributed Open Cloud Architect specializing in Identity and Access Management to join their team. The position involves designing and implementing a modern world-class Identity and Access Management platform that will protect Salesforce's production environments across their Hyperforce infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in building highly resilient, available, and self-healing services, particularly using GoLang or Java, and have deep knowledge of modern enterprise architecture patterns including EKS cell-based architecture for active/active clusters.

As a key member of the Hyperforce Architectural Council, you'll be responsible for shaping the long-range vision and planning for Hyperforce Identity Management. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and implementing advanced security measures beyond standard implementations, including MFA, passwordless authentication, and hardware-based session protection across open cloud platforms.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $230,700 to $384,100 depending on location, with positions available in major tech hubs including San Francisco, Seattle, and Bellevue.
