Lead DevOps Engineer (Release Platforms)

As part of the Tableau Online Cloud Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in bringing Tableau products to the cloud, serving an ever-growing customer base. Our team consists of passionate developers building automated, reliable systems to continuously deliver Tableau products and services to the cloud with speed, scale, safety, security, and cost efficiency.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring Tableau Online meets its growth goals by building scalable, secure, and cost-effective E2E CI/CD pipelines. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Java, Python, Git, Splunk, Kubernetes, TerraForm, AWS, and HashiCorp Vault. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex problems in large-scale distributed systems while leading projects and mentoring team members.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience, strong technical skills in object-oriented programming, and extensive knowledge of containerized environments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, make critical technical decisions, and contribute to building robust cloud infrastructure that powers Tableau's cloud offerings.
