Software Engineer Tableau

Salesforce Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for Tableau in Seattle, WA. The role involves designing and developing server-side software for a Java-Spring-AWS-based platform and suite of services. Optionally, you may design and develop a UI layer using React/JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Key responsibilities include participating in design and code reviews, breaking down and estimating work, selecting appropriate tools, maintaining high engineering standards, anticipating and mitigating risks, and quickly learning architectural knowledge and tools. You'll build and deploy software across multiple operating systems and environments, from Windows on-prem server clusters to cloud-native Linux AWS infrastructure. The role requires balancing new feature development with maintaining and improving existing codebase and tests.

Requirements:

• Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
• 1 year of experience in software engineering/program analysis or in the job offered
• Skills required: Java (1 year), Kafka, CSS, Python, Spring boot, HTML, Git, AWS, Node JS, JavaScript (1 year), SQL, React, TypeScript

• Salary range: $128,502 - $172,800 per annum
