SciTec, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Sr Staff Systems Engineer to join their team working on Next-Generation Missile Warning software. This role involves developing and implementing engineering processes for Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data processing systems. The position offers an opportunity to work on critical national security objectives within a collaborative environment. The role combines systems engineering with software development, requiring expertise in MBSE, SysML, and various programming languages. Responsibilities For Staff/Sr Staff Systems Engineer
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to generate robust software requirements
- Analyze existing requirements to provide implementation guidance to SciTec software developers
- Create and review system architectures to deliver high value software to government customers
- Analyze and document software for standards conformance
- Perform risk management analysis on current programs
Requirements For Staff/Sr Staff Systems Engineer
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences or mathematics
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a systems engineer
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
- Ability to work well with a collaborative team focusing on delivering customer value
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
