As a Lead Systems Verification & Validation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, robustness, and performance of their autonomous delivery robots.

You'll lead interdisciplinary teams, develop comprehensive test strategies, and work at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Responsibilities For Lead Engineer, Systems Verification & Validation, Autonomy

  • Lead interdisciplinary teams to define verification & validation plans
  • Develop novel strategies to verify and validate hardware and software of autonomous robots
  • Execute technical and logistical planning of vehicle tests
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
  • Develop detailed simulations and structured test plans
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the field
  • Perform test data analysis and develop automated data extraction tools

Requirements For Lead Engineer, Systems Verification & Validation, Autonomy

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or equivalent engineering field
  • 8+ years of experience in design and test of complex electromechanical/robotic systems
  • Experience with systems engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with test scripting and data analysis languages (Python and SQL)
  • Experience in data analysis including probability and statistical analysis
  • Hands-on approach to test and debugging of electromechanical systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
