Responsibilities For Senior Engineer, Systems Test (R3378)
- Work with multiple teams to integrate and test aircraft software and hardware systems
- Write Python code to test Hivemind + aircraft SW and HW systems
- Create SW based tools to improve flight testing and expedite troubleshooting
- Hands-on debugging during flight simulation and in-flight test campaigns
- Become a subject-matter-expert for running Hivemind tests on Hardware-In-The-Loop test systems
- Contribute to software utilities and automated test suites
- Contribute to and execute test plans to validate Hivemind SW and HW systems
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects
- Develop data analysis tools to visualize and report test results
- Support on-site flight testing
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies
Requirements For Senior Engineer, Systems Test (R3378)
- 2-3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Excellent Python skills (C++ helpful)
- Experience in robotics, unmanned air systems, or related hands-on engineering projects
- Strong problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- US citizenship and ability to obtain SECRET Clearance
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
