You'll be responsible for integrating AI training systems onto new hardware, managing software updates, and ensuring smooth operations across isolated environments.

This position requires extensive experience in cloud computing, particularly with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Your expertise in Linux/Unix systems, Python or C++ applications, and automation tooling will be essential. The role demands strong leadership skills as you'll be guiding a small team while working on challenging problems that directly impact national security.

Shield AI offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $168,871 to $253,307, plus bonus, benefits, and equity. The company has a global presence with offices in San Diego, Dallas, Washington D.C., Abu Dhabi, Kyiv, and Melbourne, though this position requires on-site presence in the Crystal City area.
