Senior Cloud Engineer

ShiftCare is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their rapidly growing Engineering team. As part of the foundations team, you'll play a crucial role in scaling their healthcare software platform across Australia & the United States. The company is doubling in revenue annually, creating exciting challenges in system scaling and infrastructure development.

The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions with an emphasis on scalability, security, and reliability. You'll work with AWS, implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities include scaling infrastructure across multiple regions, building self-healing systems, and implementing robust monitoring solutions using New Relic and CloudWatch.

ShiftCare's platform helps healthcare providers streamline their operations through efficient rostering, client management, and billing systems. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the platform remains secure and reliable while scaling globally. You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate should have extensive AWS experience, strong security knowledge, and a passion for building reliable systems at scale. You'll need to be comfortable wearing multiple infrastructure hats, from security services to networking and compute.
