Applied Research Engineer

Sieve is a specialized cloud built for video / audio AI, focusing on solving complex challenges in video processing and AI implementation. As an Applied Research Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of working with cutting-edge VLMs and generative models to build systems for video understanding, editing, and search use cases.

The role involves tackling ambiguous research problems and developing clever solutions through pre/post-processing, pipelining, inference optimization, and fine-tuning. You'll be working with a small but growing team that has already achieved significant milestones, including doubling revenue, securing multiple 7-figure customers, and scaling to thousands of GPUs.
