Smartly Launchpad (Software Engineer)

Smartly Launchpad is a 6-month learning experience for rising engineers looking to jumpstart their coding careers. As a Launchpad Software Engineer, you'll work as a full-fledged team member from day one, taking ownership of product development and solving ad-hoc customer problems. The program is tailored to both your and our developer teams' preferences, with the possibility of a permanent contract after successful completion.

We're seeking diverse developers across multiple teams at Smartly. You can be a fullstack engineer or focus on either frontend or backend. Our main technology stack includes React, Typescript, and Node.js, with some teams working with Ruby on Rails.

At Smartly, we build tools that automate manual work for our customers and help them work more effectively. Our technology and outstanding customer service help brands reach and engage their audiences, and scale their results.

What we expect from you:

• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Web development experience (internships or personal projects)
• Proficiency in English
• Recent graduation or at least third-year studies in a relevant field
• Skills in React, NodeJS, Typescript, or Ruby on Rails
• Understanding of typed languages and testing
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office 3 days a week

Apply before November 17, 2024. The program starts on January 20, 2025, for six months with a 37.5-hour work week. Base salary ranges from €3,000 to €3,200 per month, plus benefits including lunch and wellness perks.
