Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Soraban is a post-PMF B2B startup revolutionizing the accounting industry by automating client data intake and service delivery processes for tax firms. With exponentially growing ARR and increasing customer base, we're at an exciting scaling phase.

As a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in scaling our product built on Ruby on Rails, React, and Postgres, running on Heroku and AWS services. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that's building the future of accounting software.

What You'll Do:

• Build and scale features end-to-end using Ruby on Rails and React
• Architect solutions that can handle increasing user load and data complexity
• Collaborate with the team to improve product experience and technical infrastructure
• Contribute to technical decisions and product strategy

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience
• Strong production experience with Ruby on Rails and React or similar technologies
• Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, especially AI
• Product-minded approach to engineering
• Experience shipping end-to-end products and scaling them
• Self-starter mentality with strong determination to solve problems

The role will initially be remote but will transition to in-person (3-4 days/week) in either San Francisco or Tempe locations within 3-6 months. Join us in building the best piece of software for accountants and shape the future of the industry.
