Responsibilities For Production Engineer (Starship Electronics)

  • Develop, standardize, and continuously improve process chains for Starship Electronics components
  • Design and deliver new factory stations and production assets
  • Design and deliver mechanical tooling for Avionics hardware
  • Develop design-for-manufacturing guidelines
  • Act as expert on low-cost, high-reliability manufacturing techniques
  • Guide vehicle architecture trade studies to reduce cost
  • Analyze root cause and provide corrective actions for process issues

Requirements For Production Engineer (Starship Electronics)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering
  • 1+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with PCB fabrication or PCBA assembly processes
  • Proficiency in mechanical design tools and analysis
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assembly processes
  • Experience with process failure modes and effects analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, python)
