Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Starshield) - Top Secret Clearance

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Starshield program, which leverages SpaceX's Starlink technology for national security applications. This role is based in Hawthorne, CA, and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

The position sits at the intersection of space technology and infrastructure engineering, focusing on building and maintaining highly reliable in-space mesh networks and secure systems. As an SRE, you'll be responsible for developing automation for cloud and on-premises resources, managing core infrastructure, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Linux systems, along with strong Python scripting capabilities. While aerospace experience isn't required, the role demands someone who can think creatively and contribute fresh ideas to solve complex problems.
