Sr. Starship Engineer, Structures

As a Sr. Starship Engineer focusing on Structures, you'll be at the forefront of developing SpaceX's groundbreaking Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket system. This fully reusable transportation system is designed to carry both crew and cargo beyond Earth's orbit.

In this role, you'll tackle complex engineering challenges related to primary and secondary structures, thermal protection systems, aerodynamic control surfaces, and recovery systems. You'll be responsible for designing flight hardware that can withstand the demands of ascent, entry, and rapid reuse of the next generation Starship launch vehicle.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience, with a strong foundation in engineering principles. You'll perform critical calculations, conduct finite element analysis, and optimize designs while working closely with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in materials selection, manufacturing methods, and qualification testing will be essential in bringing designs from concept to reality.
