Engineering Manager - Podcast

Spotify is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Smalltalk team, focusing on enhancing the podcast creator experience on mobile. This role is part of the Podcast Mission, responsible for building the best tools for podcast creators. The team innovates on the podcast format, making it more interactive and engaging on Spotify.

As an Engineering Manager, you'll:

• Collaborate with product and design to define strategy and roadmap
• Own the development lifecycle from ideation to post-launch support
• Foster a culture of "anything is possible" within the engineering team
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Mentor and coach your engineering team
• Implement effective sprint planning and stand-up meetings
• Balance high-quality output with rapid development
• Participate in the hiring process

This role offers a competitive salary range of $156,000 - $223,000 plus equity, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, and generous paid time off.
