Founding Software Engineer

Strike is revolutionizing the sports betting industry by developing a sophisticated sports betting exchange platform. As a founding software engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of sports betting technology.

The role demands a strong full stack engineer who can take ownership of product development in NYC. The ideal candidate should have experience with React Native for frontend and Flask/Go for backend development. More importantly, we're looking for someone with excellent product intuition and passion for transforming betting into a legitimate asset class.

Since launching in early February, Strike has processed $200,000 in monthly bets, demonstrating strong market validation. The company is backed by Y Combinator (W25 batch) and is positioned to push the boundaries of sports technology.

Key responsibilities include leading full stack development of the mobile app, creating comprehensive internal tooling for monitoring product analytics, and implementing machine learning solutions to improve hedging mechanisms and line setting.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree, 3+ years of full stack development experience, and preferably some background in data analytics/machine learning. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can push high-quality code rapidly while maintaining product excellence.
