Description For Senior/Staff Security Engineer

As their Senior/Staff Security Engineer, you'll take the lead in protecting their infrastructure, applications, and customer data across both traditional web infrastructure and blockchain systems. Responsibilities For Senior/Staff Security Engineer

  • Design and implement comprehensive security architecture for web applications and cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform security assessments, penetration testing, code reviews
  • Lead external audits of systems and infrastructure
  • Build and maintain security monitoring systems and automated detection capabilities
  • Collaborate with engineering team to integrate best practices
  • Provide security expertise for regulatory compliance (SOC2, ISO, etc.)

Requirements For Senior/Staff Security Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of professional software/security engineering experience
  • Extensive experience securing AWS cloud infrastructure and web applications
  • Deep knowledge of network security, system hardening, and security architecture
  • Expertise in identity and access management systems
  • Strong understanding of cryptography and secure data storage practices
