Founding Engineer/Intern

Sweep is building an innovative AI coding assistant specifically designed for JetBrains IDEs, focusing on automating software maintenance tasks and bug fixes. As a Founding Engineer/Intern, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI technology that transforms natural language descriptions into actionable code changes and pull requests.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced builders on some of the most challenging and user-facing problems in AI today. You'll be part of a fast-moving team that already has large customers in production, demonstrating real-world impact and market validation.

The position is based in their Dogpatch office in San Francisco, with a five-day in-person work week requirement. This structure ensures close collaboration and rapid development cycles, essential for a founding team member.
