Token Metrics, a pioneering company in the cryptocurrency investment space, is seeking a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to join their global remote team. As a DevOps/SRE, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure, primarily focusing on cloud systems (AWS and Google Cloud). This position combines traditional system administration with modern DevOps practices, requiring both technical expertise and leadership skills.
The role involves hands-on work with cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and security implementations. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining robust systems, creating automated monitoring solutions, and implementing security protocols. Responsibilities For DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (Global-Remote-Non.US)
- Act as a cloud system admin (AWS and Google Cloud, and knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure)
- Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers
- Creating and automating alerting and monitoring system logs
- Building tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery
- Troubleshooting Support Escalation requests
- Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software
- Implementing security protocols and procedures
- Creating user accounts and performing access control
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures
- Documenting processes, backing up and archiving data
- Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures
- Designing and implementing end-user feedback and error reporting systems
- Supervising and mentoring IT department employees
- Providing IT support
Requirements For DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (Global-Remote-Non.US)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar
- Professional qualification (Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification)
- At least two years' experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies
